I have fallen in love....with iPhone Apps. I have two apps on my iPhone that I use on a daily basis and they have reignigted my love for art, inspiration and creating again. First, I'd like to introduce you to Instagram. It’s a fast, re-inventing photograpy app. It's a beautifully amazing way to share your life with friends through a series of photos that you take and edit in real time. With the ability for built in journaling. Add captions, your thoughts and then revisit those pictures later when your ready to scrapbook with paper and glue.

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Snap a photo with your iPhone (or use your saved photos from your camera roll)
2. Pick a filter which will transform the look and feel of your photo.
3. Share & later, print straight off your phone with Postal Pix (we'll get to that in a sec.)

It's seriously like a mega mashup of Facebook, Twitter, Tumbler and Hipsmatic......if it were a Glee mashup song it would be EPIC. I like it the most because it's INSTANT and I like Instant gratification. Think of old school Polaroids and ya know, the cool vibe they have? Instagram photos sort of remind me of this...but better. If your like me and use your camera on your phone to document your daily life in photos, this is a time saver. No need to take photos from your regular point and shoot. No need to upload all those pics and extra time that is needed to choose and edit. And we still haven't printed yet.

With Instagram, girl, you've got it all in the plam of your hands. Literally. This leads me to my second love.....

POSTAL PIX.

Another fantastic iPhone app. This is MAJOR for scrapbookers. If your anything like me, your camera roll is filled with tons (maybe thousands!) of pictures that you love but they just haven't made it out of your camera phone. Using the Postal Pix app is a way to print those edited photos from Instagram, staight off your phone. Seriously, amazeballs genious. You download the free, (Yep, free!) app and pic and choose up to 40 images from your phone in these awesome 4 x 4 sized square pictures. You order and pay directly from the app and they are shipped within days to your home. I love getting a postal pix package! Super cheap at 21 Cents each. You can actually combine sizes within the app from 4x6 and 8x10 as well, at a different price point.

If you have an iPhone I highly recommend getting these two apps. As a scrapbooker this is the IDEAL way to scrap. It has to be the coolest thing to scrapbook with right now.

I used the same title I originallly uploaded to Instagram with. I was half done with it already with my title done. This is what I mean by journaling with Instagram as well.
